Homes to rent in Brussels 1000 (City Centre)
12 current listings, from €750 a month
The 1000 postcode is the historic centre of Brussels: the Grand-Place, the Sainte-Catherine and Saint-Géry districts, the Mont des Arts and Brussels-Central station.
It is also wide. The same postcode reaches east towards the Rue de la Loi, so homes listed here range from a short walk from the European institutions to a few metro stops away. The address on each listing tells you which.

Getting around
Brussels-Central is the rail station in the middle of the city, and metro lines 1 and 5 run through the centre and on to Schuman. Most of the centre is walkable end to end.
If you work at one of the institutions, compare the actual route from a listing with the metro timetable. A home close to the Parliament side is not necessarily close to the Commission.
What it is like to live here
This is the busiest part of Brussels, with restaurants, bars, shops and theatres at the door. That comes with noise, particularly at night and at weekends around the Grand-Place and the Saint-Géry area.
Streets near the Rue de la Loi are quieter at night and more office-led. Ask the host about noise levels and, if you can, walk the street at the time you will be home.
